I'm wondering if one would be able to use four half dollar coins instead of the alternative of the one that is gimmicked, where you have the shell that is made by somebody like Todd Lassen?

Please respond only if you have performed this trick in front of other people.

Are you referring to Kozmo's coin in eye where the coin vanishes and appears in your eye or the coins to cup lol. Totally different effects man. Coin in eye is ungimmicked. Hit him Ayli!

In order for your question to be answered you need to clarify it a little.

Firstly, what trick are you referring to? Kozmo's ONE coin routine, Translocation by John Kennedy, or Kozmo's coins to cup?

Secondly, what exactly do you want to do? Just do the trick minus the shell?

Ya. The descriptions of the trick you describe is more than one. Your mixing the effects in your mind.

And Expanded Shells don't have to be expensive. Todd Lassen is super expensive, but a Johnson shell is around $35.

Actually I just got my answer. The reason why I posted this question was because the DVD was scratched but I figured out that it is not scratched over the important parts.

Check out some Dean Dill stuff with your shell. After playing around you will grow to LOVE the little device. Then go to jamie school craft and invest in a shell set. Quite exspensive but best investment you will ever make IMHO.

Take it to a movie rental place. Many of them have a dvd buffer that takes out scratches, if the bottled scratch remover doesnt work.
Sometimes they charge, sometimes they dont.
