Well, heres the deal. I work 40 hours a week at a grocery store. I stock shelves and I bust my butt at it within reason because I want to make manager there within the next three to four years. With that in mind I am on my feet and knees 40 hours a week with breaks that do not last long enough.

Two days ago my feet actually hurt for the first time in a while. I actually prayed for a day where it would rain all day so that way I could take a day off to relax. Today I stepped out set up. Tried to do some but I just was not feeling enthusiastic or charged. I took one of my coins and said to myself, 'heads I take a day off tails I stay and work'. It came up tails the first time........so I flipped the coin again. It came up tails.......so I flipped it a third time and hurrah it came up heads. So I packed up my things and am now getting ready to go see a movie. Next week I have no doubts that I will come back charged and ready to perform.

Dude that sucks. Kind of like your exhaustion holding you back from wanting to perform, I'm personally losing the desire to perform because of having such lame interactions with my audiences. It seems like everyone dislikes magic for me, idky. Try your best to perform next week though, and don't work too hard man lol.

Lame interactions don't bother me. People who get into this and succeed have died many times before they became successful. You are basically paying your dues. The thing that helps me perform the best is and I know this sounds cheesy but its true. A good diet and a healthy lifestyle.

you made the right thing. If you do not feel for it there is no reason to torture yourself. you're not going to make it anyway. just take a day off. especially if you do not do this for a living!
