But what you won't see in a Max Maven show is a rope tie or a packing crate escape.

Max Maven's persona is very well-defined, and his show very focussed. Mentalism from beginning to end... one reason, perhaps, why Phil Goldstein ceased to exist.

Not a criticism... just a thought.

You got me there.

Your just to smart.

Hey guys,

I see there is a straight jacket on penguin. I have an idea about using the escape (while I Irish dance) that I think would really make people laugh. When you Irish dance, you aren't supposed to move your arms away from your body (hince the jacket)

I wondering if I can even get one my size. I'm 6'7 about 255. Anybody know if I could even get into the thing? It says, "One size fits most"

Well......... I'm definetly not most.

What do you guys think?

Ted

Dont get this one. Depending on your price range check out

Performance Jackets and Cannons Escapes.

Performance jackets allows you to nearly fully customize a jacket- locks, color, size, etc. The guys a PJ are just great with service.
I am even going to have a chefs coat made into a SJ within the year.

Cannons will have more authenic style jackets, but a heafty price.

I own 2 from performance jackets and 1 from Cannons. Love them all.

If I can be of any more assitance, let me know. Always looking to help people with escapes.

Hey David,

Yeah, I can't find Performance Jackets with a search engine. Who knew Oakleys made sun glasses called straight jackets? Only on the internet!!

If you could post a link I'd really appreciate it.

Ted

A SJ escape can be extremely entertaining. It is all about how you present it. Comedy bits tossed in can shine you up but add a theme to that and you have a show.

Harry Andersons escape is proof of that.

That is priceless, Dylan. Harry Anderson is one of the best comedy magicians. I LMAO while watching the video. Thanks for posting it.

I take it Michal that you own one of Harrys original mother fixation devices. Or is that with Copperfield?

The video cut the act short but it ends off with Harry thinking he won and thinking all the applause if for him.

I wish! Lol. I don't have a device...Copperfield probably has it. Lol. I'd call him and ask him, but I get his voice mail about half of the time.

The closest thing I have to that would be a hand-written letter from Harry to his beloved mother. 8)
