Hey guys I'm looking for a special gimmicked deck of cards, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find it.

I will explain what I want to the best of my ability.

Do you know the 3 card monte gimmick? With the special pips? Well I'm looking for a one way force deck of one card, lets say the two of hearts. The only exception is that I want the one of the pips on every two of hearts to be a regular card. So you essentially I could fan the deck using a thumb fan, and show a "regular" deck, but then have my one way force deck.

Is there such a gimmicked deck on the market yet? Or is this idea unique?

Thanks,
-Trix

So that I don't expose the trick, I'm sending you a PM.

You're looking for a Monte Cristo Deck. I believe they're available from Cards By Martin.

Note that I'm saying this because of a reference to the Monte Cristo Deck in volume 2 of David Regal's Constant Fooling books. Regal uses a packet of special cards for the trick "The Very Last Card" which appear to be what you want; in the photographs shown in the book, they are even two of hearts, just like you asked. He says he "removed these cards from a 'Monte Cristo Deck' obtained from Cards By Martin." However, other discussions of this deck which I've seen on the web describe it as exactly the opposite of what Regal is using.

Monte Cristo Decks are sold out on the Cards by Martin site, and there is a note that says they are going to be mass-produced soon. I have a feeling that what happened is the that the MC decks from Cards by Martin were made in the manner as the cards Regal is using, whereas the mass-produced decks are the opposite. Both versions can be used in a similar manner, i.e., to show the cards as all different but still be able to do a force; however, the handling would be different.

Update: Yes, the deck Regal used is what you want. There's a guy in Germany making and selling them as the "CardMaker Deck." Of course, he's sold out, too.

Note that you can make these yourself without splitting cards, but it is very labor intensive. You'll need a few packs of FAKO transfers, a two of hearts forcing deck, some good erasers, a few hours of spare time, and lots of patience.

Rub-on "decals" of card indices, pips, etc.

Google "FAKO sheets" and you'll find them.

Have you used fako sheets? Is it convincing? Do they peel off after a while? And most importantly, do they leave a glossy look on the card like normal stickers do? Is it noticable?

Thanks for the responses,

I wanna know if the fako sheets come with enough pips to do a deck of 52 cards all the same cards or if i have to buy multiple fako sheets.
