if I recall correctly there is a similar effect in bobo.
is it possible that the name is topsy turvy coins?

however the effect is as follows:

you show five coins, a head, a tail, a head, a tail, and a head.

you cover the coin, and in the end they are all heads.

How can you flick it at the same speed each time even if you somehow managed to constantly flick it to the same height?

It will always vary.

He didn't say anything about flipping a coin. Just covering them with his hands. This sounds more like an "oil and water" effect but using coins.

It's supposed to look as natural as possible. If you flip a coin in the air and place it on your hand you cover it first. I want that movement to look natural so when the coin is revealed to flipped it is a surprise
