Dude, take half of that money and buy the Manchurian Approach.... It teaches more inductions, and how to apply it to magic...

Jay and Hon told me they were considering taking it off the market. Maybe they did.

From what I've heard it does work. From what I've also heard, The Manchurian Approach is less than half of it's price and is better.
I don't own either, though.
I'll be buying The Manchurian Approach.

The book Reality is Plastic is by the same person that does the Manchurian Approach.

I've read that book. It's a great intro to Hypnosis. It gives a lot of scripts and what to do. Good intro if you're not sure if you want to buy the video.

I have the Manchurian Approach. It's really good.

In my opinion - Zap! seems a bit overpriced. There are plenty of instant induction techniques out there. You have to ask yourself if you really want to put somebody on the ground for an instant induction. It just doesn't seem like something I would want to do. It doesn't seem like it would fit with me.

I think their are other methods on the DVD too. But my money goes to Manchurian Approach.

I'd answer that it is a magic performance technique, not a superpower.

oh - And I don't know where you got the description of "you touch someone and they faint..."

You have to grab them and yank their arm in Zap! It's not a mere touch. And they don't faint - they go into a state of hypnosis.

I dont see how this could really work anyways. I can just see going to someone and crabing them in this day and age. You would be lucky not to get hit in the face.

You have their permission before you start yanking. You don't just walk up and pull. It's a rapid induction technique that works based on pattern interrupts. Seeing as this is not a magic technique I have no problem telling you that this can be found on youtube if you use the keywords in the previous sentence. Zap is not unique, it's well known, and there's a lot of hype surrounding it, that quite frankly IMO it doesn't deserve. Hope this helps.

Hate to tell you, but it probably won't help. He hasn't been back since he posted this originally.

I have seen zap and have been a hypnotist for along time. The method is nothing new, a pattern interrupt, (handshake induction) with a fast built rapport. You also have to deepen the trance after you perform "zap" to get the subject into the desired state. Reality is plastic has amazing material in it and I would highly recommend it over zap. Zap is definitely worth the money.

sean, let's not start up zap threads again... they always ended poorly. Frankly, I'm surprised this one even stayed open after interest was lost.
