I knew Bigelow was never going to get out of that belt. What was he even thinking? Baker has never lost a challenge, ever!

Back in May and June 2009 Norman Bigelow had been challenging Steve Baker. Steve wouldn't come to the party and wouldn't even discuss the matter. Norman said that Steve did contact him directly after Norman very abusive posting at Genii buzz forum ( until he was banned).
As Steve Baker has also been banned from so many sites, I guess he couldn't really publicly reply. As Steve is well known for using many other usernames names but claims never to post unless under Mr Escape, he certainly wasn't going to use one of these name to front Bigelow.

Norman claimed that a challenge was going to happen and it has been worked out that it would take place at this years escape convention.
After all the posting , all the noise and all the claims and counter claims, neither guy showed at the convention. Just more self publicity for the retired aging men.

However it appears that Steve is claiming some victory in the above post ( one of his commonly used other usernames)

Norman Bigelow threw in the towel (tapped out) thus, Mr. Escape, Steve Baker won the challenge.

David,

Could you clarify your comments? You make no sense! Who is living off of Baker at the Magic Cafe? Mr. Escape does not even post there anymore and has not for over 2 years.

Oh thats right he got banned. I forgot because he's that little of importance to me and plenty of others. He isnt as great as you and his people make him out to be- as a person or escape artist.

Take your stupid fights or whose better else where. We had plenty of them in the past and we are tired of them. Get a life.

Hi David, you are right, he was banned from the cafe, as once he got the job he pushed for, that of moderator, it like all things went to his head and he attacked, edited or deleted any posts he didn't like.

He has just privately emailed ( for the thousandth time) to remind me, that he considers himself a legend.

As to Bigelow "throwing in the towel' and Baker winning, what a laugh to both, neither showed up and prior to the convention, there was a lots of self publicity which came to nothing and nothing is all they can both take from it.

There is a lesson for all new escape artists in this, know your limitations and don't believe you are better than what you can actually produce.
And save for the future so you don't have to live off others.

Ian McColl has no clue what he is talking about. Mr. Baker was not banned from the Magic Cafe, ask Mr. Steve Brooks of the Magic Cafe. Ian knows nothing!!!!

It seems two years still isn't enough of a "cooling down" period.
