We magicians will usually complain about the spectator who's too smart for his own good; but how about the occasional (but rare) ones who are somewhat the opposite?
I don't know if it's just me, but occasionally there will be the spectator who has a very short attention span, or just doesn't pay much attention, then just has a confused look on his face when the magical part of the trick happens.
"Wait, I missed it what happened?"
Ha, it's somewhat awkward and ruins the mood when I have to say "Oh, I just read your mind" or "Your dollar bill just changed to a 5..." And it's not that I'm presenting in a hard-to-follow way, 'cause I usually make it pretty simple.
So I was just wondering if any of you fellow magicians ever come across these people, and how you respond to them.
