I want to know what the BEST Chop cup is. I'm talking about design, handling, price and originality. I heard about a mini Chop cup which I found very interesting, but I can't find it anywhere.

I actually REALLY enjoy the Chop Mug; more expensive but it looks organic (more so than a random cup) and works it's way into creating patter for you!

I checked it out, Chris, and it looks very good and has some very positive reviews. But there is the money issue...maybe for my birthday or something.

I don't like Chop Cups, but I like the routine. How do I solve this dilemma?

PK ring, magnetic (not just shimmed) balls (both of them, no guesswork), and a borrowed cup.

The double power pull of both the ring and the ball means I can "feel" it holding from inside the cup. No more guessing if I set the cup down too light or too heavy. Now I *know* for sure where the ball is. Having both gimmicked means I don't even have to keep track of anything. It works all the time, every time.

My favorite Chop Cup? RNTII's PK Chop Cup. It's heavy spun copper in the traditional design, but without gaffs of any kind. If a magician examines it looking for the gaff, there's nothing to find.

If you really like the chop mug I would suggest having one made for you. I have friends who do pottery a lot and I just asked one of them to make me a standard mug with a little something "extra" that I provided. I paid for the materials but that was less then $10 for everything. I am sure you could get your local pottery place to do the same for you.

As for me, I am like DaveV. I like the routine but wanted to do it all with a regular cup. My routine does not involve some of the things his does though.
