I was just curious what some of the other Penguins are buying. I just recently picked up some extra Stealth Pens, and I the other day I placed the following order.

David Stone Coin Magic #2
Lefty Deck (2)
Rocky Raccoon
Sleight of Dave DVD
Tarbell Course of Magic Volumes 1 - 8

I'm really looking forward to this stuff. I'm especially excited for the Tarbell set. I've heard so many good things.

So having said that, what are you guys getting?

I just got Balloon School, which has been taking most of my time up for the past 10 days or so. I also got a bunch of other DVDs that I haven't watched yet: Seance with Dixie Dooley, Escapology with Dixie Dooley, Contact with Tyas Frantz, Street Cups Starring Gazzo, Coin Under Watch with Oz Pearlman, and a few other random things.

I also got the following things that I'm working into a routine:
Fantasio Vanishing Cane
Fantasio Appearing Cane
30 Foot Silk Streamer
Hippity Hop Rabbits

They are just the first order of a full routine that I'm working on. I had several of the other effects that I need for the routine, and one more that I need to order that has been out of stock recently.

This is my first order with penguin that ships. Ordered these last friday. Shipped up here in Canada.

First time using loops! But i'm going to buy pet 2.0 next time because my friend showed me and gave me the video that shows how to tie your own loops!

I haven't been booked for ANY shows recently at ALL. Haven't placed a magic order for a very long time either.

I just made a sort-of "utility" order of some things I have just been meaning to get, but haven't had the chance. I had a gift card, so I thought, "Why not?" I got...

1. Blank Face Bicycle Deck
2. Blank Back Bicycle Deck
3. One Way Force Deck (8H)
4. Card Wallet (I actually did need one for a certain trick mentalism effect)
5. Penguin Catalog
6. Close-Up Pad (VDF Professional Black)

AND as a bonus for the promo Penguin had, I got The Greatest Beginner Magic DVD Ever. Obviously I'm not a beginner, but I thought it would be a good opportunity to check out this dvd, since I was kind've skeptical about this when it came out.

WHYYYYYYY. I'm sorry but I don't know why ANYONE would buy a forcing deck if you can force a card ANY POSSIBLE WAY. As for the blank cards those are awesome I use them offen for comedy tricks and my most powerful trick called INK-A-THINK (I bend the drawned spoon on a signed playing card. Signed on front) Plus you can use them for the cheap man's blizzard as I call it.

You can use it for an effect that you destroy the same card every time.

Forcing isn't the only thing you can do with those cards. There are a lot of effects where you need a bunch of the same card. That's my guess. I wouldn't buy one just for forcing though.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH. Sorry I didn't think about that. Guess it's 'cause I don't do any of those but I'm sorry I didn't think of that.
