If you haven't noticed check the "new arrivals" section (of penguin, duh) Cardsharp by Darwin Ortiz vol 1-3 for $22. That's stupid cheap. 3 DVD's of serious, serious card material for $22. Right next to that are 3 Allen Ackerman DVD's for the same stupid cheap price. If you don't know who Darwin Ortiz and Allen Ackerman are, you should hate yourself. Or at least go mope in a corner for an hour or something. These guys are GIANTS when it comes to card work. If you take card magic seriously do not pass up this opportunity to snag this material for cheap.

There is a "who are the top cardmen" thread over at the cafe and Allan Ackerman along with Ortiz and Green are the top mentioned card guys.

I just scored volumes 3-8 of Allan Ackerman's Advanced Card Control DVDs on unopened on eBay for $60! They are monster DVDs with enough material to keep me busy for years to come. He's a great teacher and a master of cards.

I'm a huge Ackerman fan and I love watching Green. I have never gotten anything from Darwin Ortiz though. I might have to pick that up. Maybe I can finally work on the pinky count?
