I need a new chop cup ball because the "secret" ball broke. Do you guys know of a website that will sell just the balls? If so, what brand is best? I would like the strongest brand. Thanks a million! 8)

I'm looking for a chop cup ball as well. Just got a black metal cup from Bed Bath and Beyond. The PERFECT cup to chop. Anyway, I know Penguin carries one, but I'm not sure how good the quality of it is.

What size balls might you suggest?

Dave, I know that they had a problem with their cups and customer service a while back, did that get resolved?

You have not seen Cups & Balls until you look here...

They also sell beautiful balls.....

Of course for cups like these you need to be performing for Royalty... I sure can't afford the price. Well, maybe someday.

I also make my own balls for the chop cup. They are suede monkey fist style that match the regular balls for my cup routine. If you would like to know how send me a PM.

It pretty much depends on your loading style. I just cradle them in the crook of my little finger, so I can use a fairly large ball. 1" to 1.25" or so. Larger than that and my fingers don't curl enough and I risk flashing.

Hey U.S.$300 for the brass or copper cups is not bad. Remember when we buy these we are using them to make a living. If I am banging my cups around doing 20 shows a day busking, I want GOOD quality cups

Paddy,

I was thinking of the price of the gold and silver ones @ $1700. The brass and copper ones are not a bad price at all. I do like the engraved ones but for now I will stick with the Johnson brass cups that I have and I will continue to make the balls myself.
