For my Drawing II class we had to draw a self portrait in the style of an artist. I chose Jim Lee as my artist, as he is one of my favorite comic book artists of all time. His style is so distinct and always draws my eyes towards his characters. I found a picture of the Joker and Batman and decided to replace Batman with myself.

This piece is 18x24 in big and took nearly 18 hours to complete. This was done in India Ink with Charcoal and Chalk to add to the rain effect

followed you on DA now. So u read comics as well? sounds like a DC fan. I"m more marvel normally, though i do admit DC does some good stuff.

Yeah i'm more marvel. I"ve read every major release from about the last 5 years. Last DC i read was Identity Crisis.
