This will happen to you 100% of the time there are ANY kids anywhere in the gig. Kids will find you interesting, and parents see it as an opportunity to "get rid of the kids for a while" in a safe environment.
There's a variety of methods to handle this, but you need to prevent them taking over your show. Personally, I'll do SOME tricks for them and then return to the adults. And either assign them as my designated audience or "make them my assistants".
