First thing you need is an act or at least about 4 effects that you can perform. when you have that then you can start looking for books. Kids are a TOUGH, VICIOUS audience. If your effects are not down perfect, if you flash, they will let you and everybody else know.

My favorites are "Kidbiz" and "Professional Magic For CHildren" both are written by David Ginn
