I have to say, if you want to buy just one movie to watch over and over again it has to be your favorite movie, not ours.

This is very true.

Also, not really beautiful, but I could watch these two over and over, and never get bored of them:
The Sandlot
HOLES

Please don't misunderstand me. I already have that money spent. The question i asked was merely arised as I was contemplating what I considered a beautiful movie. In my process I discovered that I found that beautiful was a very hard concept to pinpoint. I only wanted your views. Sorry if I was misleading.

As always,
Dylan

I like Watchmen, but I dont know if you'd consider that a beautiful movie.

In my mind one of the most beautiful movies ever made.

So I know I'm really, really (really) late on this -- but I finally just saw Inception for the first time today. So brilliant...probably the second best movie of the past year (nothing beats out Black Swan for me).

- La Vita Bella (Life is Beautiful) - Need I say anymore
- American History X - Great perspective of racial backgrounds and conflict with a sadly ironic ending
- V for Vendetta - The idea of standing up for what you believe in and against conformity in society and censorship
- Dead Poet's Society - One of the most iconic films in recnet years by Robin Williams
- Fightclub - Not for everyone, but the message of indivuduality and shelf life come across well from the narrators antagonist

Movies? No way. Books? Maybe.

Yes and yes! Haven't seen the others, but I'm sure they are as well if Fight Club and American History X are on your list.

What did you end up purchasing?

I'll one more movie to the list, one I think has not been mentioned yet.

"Once"
