The title pretty much says it all.

If you buy The Three Shell Monte (similar to this one http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=S2609) it comes with three half walnut shells. If you carefully glue two of them together it could possibly look like a full walnut. And the shells are rubber (it's a stiff rubber though). You also could try an arts and crafts store.
I hope this helps.

I've got one of those sets. I thought they were just plastic. The one I'm looking for is more of a soft rubber that can be loaded quietly under pretty much anything.

I came across this site. They show a walnut in their intro, but there are no prices listed. Apparently, you must email them for pricing and availability. It also looks as if they do custom orders, as well. Hope this helps.

OK. I'm an idiot! Here's the link I was talking about: http://magiclatex.com/index.html But I see that was already posted. Sorry about that...

@ Exodus....is this possibly for Harry Riser's "The Walnut Trick"??? I just looked it up in "The Feints and Temps of Harry Riser" by Ed Brown. If not, this effect still uses a hollow, rubber walnut and the text says to find the thing at a magic, joke, or novelty shop.

I'll do some searching, I believe I have a list of on-line magic sites that sell A LOT of novelty / joke items....

Sir,

You also may be able to try:

http://www.magiclatex.com/

I also read something about an effect called "Completely Nuts", was from an old source of info and at the time was sold only by Hocus Pocus.....This effect sounds like it is basically Harry Riser's "Walnut Trick" and, if so, would have a rubber walnut included.

I have purchased from Hocus Pocus a few times in the past and have always been 100% happy....if you call and talk to Paul Gross,
(800) 407-4040, he or whomever ya talk too will be more than happy to assist you. They also sell a lot of used, old and collectable stuff. I'd think they could steer ya in the right direction if they don't have what ya need.

Also found this little novelty item.......too funny: http://www.halcyon.com/donace/WALNUT.HTM

Take care sir.....

In a roundabout way, it is. It's for the routine that inspired Completely Nuts from one of the Vernon books, which was in turn inspired from the Riser routine. Thanks for the links.

X, this is as close as it gets...Randi Rain is making foam rubber walnuts (not hard rubber ones). However, she is selling it in conjunction with a DVD "Completely Nuts" by Brian O'Neill (which is a variation of the Vernon effect). If you're still interested, you can check it out here:
http://store.randirain.com/ It's the third trick listed, so be sure to scroll down to view...

My pleasure. Let us know if you ordered this and the quality of the walnuts from Ms. Rain.
