Yeah i just beat it last night. Going to beat it New Game+ on zealot, then i might try hardcore mode.

*Spoilers*
I LOVED the ishimura part. Godddd, it was so creepy walking around. So much suspense, you hear all these noises and theres no monsters coming out. Walking around corners, remembering parts from DS1. Amazing.

Oh man, I know ^that part^ was so awesome!

I played through on Zealot...and the end is ridiculously hard...

Hard Core is ridiculous too. You only get 3 saves in the entire game. (It's on Survivalist difficulty, just for some trivia.)

Dead Space 2 is better than 1 in my opinion. 1 actually made me very dizzy and didn't spook me. 2 did a better job, and there are some pretty disturbing scenes even just in the beginning. Very good game but I'm not sure I can justify 60 dollars for a 10-15 hour game. Worth it for the storyline and gameplay though.

And the Handcannon. Reason enough to get the game.

Lol, I really need to get the final boss fight done with, but it's just so frustrating...I need more of a strategy, and I thought of one...so...I'll get around to it at some point.

As for which I think is better. I think they're bothe equally amazing, but #2 is definitely an improvement over the first one. Although both are very linear (which actually isn't a problem in these games), 2 definitely added more non-linear gameplay (zero-G and the flying/falling sequences).

Final boss I just went plasma cutter mad and completely disregarded all the little dudes, it took me a good five tries though.

I played it on Survivalist on my first run, i bought ALOT of ammo before the end. Had like 70-90 bullets for my line and plasma cutter. I only died twice i think, both because i got too close to the boss.

As did I, but by the time I got to the marker most of it had run out...I'm wondering if I can go back to the store...I'm gonna have to try that.

Well I finally beat the game (after making my way back to the store, selling most of my weapons and sticking with the Contact Beam and the Pulse Rifle.

Now I gotsta go through two more times...once on Easy to get the rest of the trophies, and once on Hard Core to get the Hard Core trophy.
