Hi guys just a quick question bout okito boxes, which is better quality the original or tango products? Or are they bout the same? Aluminum better then brass or vice versa? Sounds better maybe? i dont know. Or its just a preference of color.

Three Types of Okito Boxes i've seen

Brass is heavier, which makes it easier to use. Also, I find that aluminum scratches easier and starts to look dull quite quickly.

I much prefer a polished brass box over all others.

My brass boxes are Jim Z, I have a Buddha Stainless set and I also have Beyond Okito.

The Jim Z brass boxes look great and have great balance with straight sides and heavy lids.

The Buddha set has rounded edges and also have great balance. The lid is a little bit lighter but still OK.

Basically I like them both.

I LOVE Jim Z boxes. Well worth the added cost.
