Can anyone tell me a very practical daggers thru head trick that can be done for kids (that one who is annoying) in a setting of like 15 or so kids watching the show? I mean best price and constructablity and portability?

hope that made sense, I see a few when I search for one with wide price differences... thanks,

Its a kid show. Stay away from sticking things through your head. Kids love magic and will try to do the things your doing.

I agree with aces_up as you don't want to be a bad influence.
And just a tip on Andrew Mayne's Brain Damage: I heard that it wasn't the best trick. I forget where though (themagiccafe?). But it is your decision. If you want a more "good" looking prop try one made from wood. More expensive but less cheesey.
Thanks, Drew

Get a finger chopper. Less potential for the kids to go home and try something stupid since most of them will know that it is gimmicked in some way. There are a few ones gaffed in a way that they won't be able to figure out the secret yet at the same time they intuitively know that it is a trick and not real.

I agree that you shouldn't put daggers through your head for a kids show. There is a NON cheap trick that is balloon animals through head, which I think is just fine for a kids show. here is a link. http://madhattermagicshop.com/magicshop ... ts_id=3730

It seems I have traveled into the twilight zone version of these forums where it is perfectly ok to stick daggers through your head and chop off your fingers in front of small children, that is plain crazy, and if a magician did it to my sister, I would try to make sure they were never hired again. Kids are beyond impressionable , if my sis sees something on tv she will instantly repeat it, she had heard the F word once in her life but since that point she has said it almost every day no matter what we try to do, sorry to sound rude but anything involving somthing that a kid could hurt them selves with should not be shown to a kid.
