So i have been doing magic for years, but i have never taken the time to really work on my pass *gasp* Until now. I have been working on it for the past few weeks, and about half the time the top card of the bottom half somehow gets stuck on the bottom of the half top and doesn't make "the pass." Anyone know what might be causing this? I am not sure if help can be explained to me without exposure, but if it can, i would love any help you can give!

It's friction. Try slowing the move down a little and see if that helps. The number one secret of the pass is that it doesn't have to be fast and the number one myth is that it has to be invisible. Also, try a very loose grip. If you're squeezing the cards too tight, they'll bind on each other. Really, I'd imagine is this problem leading to the friction.

You could always also try the Herman Pass, or the Dribble Pass. I use the dribble pass all the time now that have it down

Good to hear. Loosen your grip seems to be the key to fixing most problems people run into with cards. Aaron Fisher discusses tension quite a bit in his work and, while a lot of the tricks themselves don't appeal to me personally, those essays were highly beneficial. You should look into the Paper Engine if you don't already have it.

Jonathan Kamm has a good tutorial on this. and his pass is excellent!
