I am looking for more stuff to add to my repertoire. But, I only want tricks that I am going to USE! Here is a list of some of my favorite tricks.

-sponge balls (absolutely the best!!!)
-hot rod
-invisible deck
-stealth pen
-5 in 1 transpo
-cups and balls
-crazy man's handcuffs

It seems like I like the simpler tricks that get great reactions. I am all about the reactions. If people dont wow me, I dont want the trick that much. For me, and my style, I stick with lots of the simpler tricks. I am just wondering what you guys can suggest.

I suggest getting two books. The royal road to card magic, and modern coin magic. they are full of card and coin tricks/ slights that you will use.

Books are best but I also recommend Off the Cuff and On the Spot by Gregory Wilson. Both DVD's have material that use regular items and should fit your style. Recap is my favorite.

If you find that you like Greg you might also get Ring Leader and or Pointless

Awesome thanks for the advice. I think I am gonna go with On the Spot for now. I was actually planning to get that one. It definitely looks like my style. I will probably check out Royal Road to Card Magic too, as I have heard so much about it. Thanks!

I was actually planning on buying Born to Perform as well. I just got the Sheridan Course in Card Manipulation (which was excellent!!), but it wasn't as much sleights as it was flourishes =P. Think I will probably be getting Born to Perform also. Thanks

K, I actually got a a lot of TTs already, so I am good there (should have mentioned that above too). I decided to go with "On the Spot" with Greg Wilson, "Born to Perform Card Magic" with Oz Pearlman, "Triple Threat Wallet" by Anthony Miller, "In the Trenches" with Paul Green, and a few other small misc. items. Thanks for the suggestions!

That's a nice collection there. in the trenches is great. Coming together is my favourite routine on there.
BTP is always great.
On the spot is GOLD!!!

Let us know what you you think of the triple threat. 8)
