I start off with josh jays Poker Opener or Chicago Opener. Then I will go in to a routine involving Strip by Jose Lac'Quest. Then to finish I will do Richard Sanders Identity.

please tell me what you think.

Sounds fine basically, but if I were you I would cut some of the card stuff. Maybe you should try a mental effect or some other close up trick (I dont think coins would be the best).

Just curious but why cut the cards(bad pun sorry). There are plenty of magicians who do nothing but. There are also many magicians who focus on coins. Just seems an odd statement.

I think basing about or more then 50% of your act on cards isn't ideal, because your spectators would eventually have enough, and some people doesn't like card tricks at all. When you let someone choose a card, usually there will be this guy who sais "I know this trick!" or "seen that one before" or whatsoever. You can use cards, but also have some tricks that doesn't use them. And about the coins, for a moment I thought you were talking about table hopping... So my bad , coins are good for walkaround.

I don't think a three trick set is too much. But I agree if they want more that you should transition to something else.

Here's one of my favorite walk around routines I've been using a lot lately.

Self Tying Shoelace (Sometimes people tell me my shoelace is untied, some don't, and if they don't say anything, I don't perform the effect)
A Strange Phenomenon
Biddle Trick
Exile
Tagged (Richard Sanders version)

The whole routine, that also includes someone who mentions my shoe lace being untied, is about 8-9 minutes long.

That's not bad.

one of my walkaround sets is

Point blank (greg wilson)

then into

Imagine (G)

then into

signed card to impossible location i.e. card to wallet, or even consignment.

I sometimes swap the last one with a ring into sealed envelope in wallet, or a ring flight. Depends.
