I've never been much of a bender. But to all you benders out there....What do you guys prefer? bending coins ?or bending keys?

I'm tossing up between flexion and coinvexed. I've heard great things on flexion.

Thoughts?

true.....:D Issue with that a little bit here in australia is that coinvexed will only bend 5c and 10c here. not a real issue.

Keys hold more emotional connection, at least for me. There is always a bit of a mystery to keys, "What does it open." Same reason I have a love of gaffed boxes I guess. That, plus the fact that Flexion, and other key bends, are generally MUCH cheaper than most of the high quality coin benders. Put those two together and it was an easy choice for me...I'll stick to bending keys.

well to alot of spectators if u use their keys than yes its better than a coin, but if ur using ur own keys it seems more gimmicky. doing it with a borrowed signed coin seems so impromptu and i think that makes it better overall.

I've had someone bend a key, and I didn't like it. I had to get a whole new key and wake up my folks to let me in the house.

I think the effect is just as effective with either coins or keys, but I would suggest coins for the example above. Do you want your laymen to remember you for screwing with their evening?

HAHA, who bends a spec's key? Many of those who perform Flexion are buying keys in bulk (cheap) bringing out two keys and having the spec examine them before the routine. The key also "appears" to bend in the spectator's cup together hands. Check out Akira's review.

If he is bending their key even if he bends it back that weakens it.

For a great "pre" bend marked coin/key routine I recommend the Xpert.

Thanks guys for all your input. its a hard decision really....looks like more here like bending coins more.

@jono the great. Can't really afford quantum bender.....

I have seen akira's review on flexion, which is why I started looking into it in the first place.
