Does Penguin accept Visa Gift Cards as a form of purchase? If so, how might I go about using one for a purchase? If you could explain step by step it would be very helpful, seeing as I've tried and failed to use one of these on previous purchases. Thanks!

I have found them very easy to use with Penguin!

You basically just do everything normal until the billing info. You type in your name, then the number on the card, the expiration date and then that three digit number on the back.

Works for me like a charm.

Okay, I'll probably try that out tomorrow. Thanks!

Yeah these cards are just pre-paid credit cards pretty much. There's nothing really different about them except you run out eventually. I used to use them alot (although a lot of other sites are really iffy with them, like PayPal based sites)

If I get one of these as a gift I typically use them in person (because it's easier than carrying cash or credit cards) but I found that it was roughly the exact same price as my order.

I just placed a $39.75 order with a $40 gift card. Now I'm gonna feel like a d**che b*g spending a $0.25 gift card :| . Guess I'll get a pack of... a piece of gum
