Acar, in "My Account" it shows that Chop was shipped last Fri (4/1) I haven't received it yet and when I talked to Daniel on the help chat today he said it wasn't shipped yet. What gives?

I have had items in my account show that they were shipped before they actually were but I believe the system automatically does this, maybe after a certain function performed by one of the Penguins. One can know their order was truly shipped when a link to a tracking number is posted.

Right this happened to me with Masterfile, if you pre-order something with an expected ship date it automagically switches to 'shipped' on that date.

Sorry about the confusion, guys. Our system sometimes shows "shipped" when your order is printed by the warehouse. We'll be fixing the way your status displays *very* soon, but in the meantime, you will always know for "sure-sure" if your order shipped when the tracking info appears on your order page at Penguin. Also you should receive a confirmation email when it really ships.

OK You all know that I am a very blunt skeptic and tell thing as they really are. Also earlier I mentioned that this one sounded REALLY GOOD so I bought it and would review it. Well I received it today. HOLY CRAP it is just as advertised! It is FAN DARN TASTIC and very easy to perform. I watched the DVD, practiced only a couple of times and then showed my wife. She ALWAYS spots the secret, but on this, she actually had to ask me how I did it!! It is worth, seriously, twice the price and could very well become your sigiture effect, it's that good.

BTW you don't need to have the bill in a lemon as an ending and he teachs alternate endings to this powerful effect.

Thanks Paddy for your review of "Chop". I was waiting to hear what you think of it, I liked the sound of it when I first heard of it on the "Wizard Product Review". Now all I have to do is wait for the funds to order it.

Thank You

I might pick this up as well now. If PADDY says it is good? It MUST be. 8)

Maybe you'll have the funds by the time Penguin gets another shipment. It could be a while. Word has it that an item required to make the gimmick is in short supply.

That creates so much mystery in my mind....Makes me want to get it just to find out what this short supplied item is.

We should start the "chop" game.
Rules:1. You must try to guess the secret item required for the gimmick.
2. you can't play if you have chop....you can only silently laugh

First Geass: Flux Capasiter! You go back in time at a critical moment and place the signed bill on a bud on a lemon tree.

Just before performing the effect the performer calls up the people who operate the Hadron Collider http://public.web.cern.ch/public/en/lhc/lhc-en.html and lets them know he is about to begin. Then, at the precise moment he gives the signal, "Commence the collider!" and the miracle happens right before the spectators eyes. And your own.

eostresh, speaking of going back in time, how about coming from the future;

A dollar seed from a money tree is placed in a lemon bud to grow into the much needed money lemon. Sad to say but the dollar seed is hard to come by in these bad economic times, people are hording them and keeping them out of the limelight causing them to wither and die.

I know, mine has died !

Well I finally got this down well enough to actually perform it and MAN IT IS GREAT!! There is one part of the effect where you place the cup, upside down in the palm of the specs hand and throw the (invisible) bill up in the air, you follow it as it flies thru the cup and lands in the specs hands. The comment I got was "#%%##%$ That was real!!! When I finished the signed $20 bill was in a kiwi and when I returned it to him he said "No that's yours, That one is incredible!" Well worth the money!!

I've really been wanting to get this one but unfortunately I didn't take Penguin's warning of it selling out seriously enough. Does anyone have any idea when it will be available in North America again?

I wonder how it can stay in the "Top 10 Effects" category when it is sold out.
