I haven't seen any official ones, but it shouldn't be hard to get creative.

I'd use a pull, my watchband, and some misdirection, but it's up to you.

Welp, here's the problem. I just invented a sleight that could do this, for lack of anything better to do. It's based off of line of sight; quite a bit angle sensitive. The exchange is made as you put the pen cap back on.
Only thing is, I can't tell you how to do it, because that would technically be exposure. I'd be exposing my own trick.
Can we get a ruling on that, from a mod? Can I explain this, since penguin doesn't sell anything of the sort, to my knowledge?

I think it would be fine since its not something you bought. plus they'll just give you a warning.

Even if it's something you invented, discussing methods in an open forum still exposes the work to the outside world and for that reason it's still not allowed.

And just in case you think I'm only here to spoil your fun...

Study the term "flipstick"

Two pens, using the flipstick "vanish" with one as you simultaneously do the flipstick "appearance" with the other. It should look like you held one pen, touched or stroked the length of it with the other hand and the dirty work is done.

I'd suggest picking up the pen from a table in your "weak" hand and then supposedly transfer it to your dominant hand so you can write, hand it to someone, whatever it is you want to do after the switch. Moving it from one hand to the other is all the justification you need to make the sleight virtually invisible. It's basically a shuttle pass as suggested earlier with the flipstick moves thrown in to handle the unique size and shape of the pen.

If the flipstick move isn't desirable for whatever reason, one could use a silk or other size appropriate prop as cover.

Why run without being chased? There's a much simpler way to switch that pen out...

Same method for "ringing a cooler". If you work ou of your pockets, use them. If you work out of a bag, brief case, or servant...use it.

Believe me. Simplifying the switch will only make it more deceiving and less opportunity for mishap.

email me or call me and I will go over it with you.

Best,

Bobby
