I just had the best time reading this thread, it's quite the reunion. It's amazing how far the forums have come, heck, even Penguin, I remember back when they didn't have the MTV style hype promos and it'd just be Oz infront of a black cloth in Maxwell's apartment doing demo vids. Those were the days. Would really like to see some fellow oldies creep back out the wood work. Good to see my boy Bravesaint still around too.
Looking back, this place really did define a home and a coumminity of a generation of Magicians. I still lurk here and urge newer users to still keep this place alive for the future of Magicians who are: Born to Peform.

Not many people remember me but I remember a lot of the "old timers". Smokingmonkey and billabong were awesome, as well as ronaldhino. Adjones is still around (by the looks of it) and always awesome. I remember pretty much everyone in this thread. There were some really good times I'll never forget...

EDIT: I'll probably edit this a bunch to include people I forgot to mention, like Lawboy. He's great.
++Akirafist and George (DerZauberer).

Wow, its been a while. Lol, like Wiggy, I too remember the days of having to actually download each and every demo video onto your computer to view it. Hahaha...

Crazy to scroll through this thread and see some familiar names from years ago!

My, how times have changed. I would give anything to be able to go back in time with the knowledge that I currently have, but that's now how the world works. Back then feels like forever ago...but if I stop and think about it...it feels like yesterday. I don't feel that much older, but I know that I am. I'll be in my 30s soon, and soon after that....penguinmagic will seem like a dream to me. I'll look back and wonder, "What was that one place? The first forum that I ever joined..."

I think that part of what attracted me to magic in the first place was the fact that I could pretend like I could do something that I really couldn't. It was so much fun. I think I'm still refusing to grow up because I want to hold onto the dream that I can be great. Sooner or later I'll have to give up on the dream and settle for reality....but for now...I'm still holding on to what I haven't got.

Aww, that warms my heart. Thanks guys! :)

Yeah, a lot of stuff has come up. But I don't even post that much on YouTube anymore...now I am about to get professional with my editing.

PS: I finally finished with my shortfilm "Wald". If anyone remembers... ;)

I like going back to view old demos and hearing that classic [only on Penguin] demo music. That solo slow bass line. That funky drum beat. Those trumpets... BAM... BAM BAM!
