I thought Penguin had free shipping on orders over $20. What happened? That was one of the best things about Penguin. :/

When did you place an order that they didn't offer that?

That was a long time ago man. Now it's over $40 I think. Shipping is still cheap though.

$6.95 is not, by any means, cheap for shipping.

I completely missed the over $20 part, ya it's been $40 for a while

I knew it went up from $20 to $25 but I didn't know it had gone up again to $40 O_O

Usually for anything that inexpensive I go brick and mortar anyway, just cuz I kind of find it pointless to have 1 or 2 inexpensive items shipped to me.

Honestly...I ordered off Amazon. Saved about $7.

But seriously. This was one of the reasons I loved Penguin (well, actually it was when they had Free shipping on all orders). That was one of the things that set them apart.

If you'd like we can raise product prices a little and offer free shipping on all orders

But seriously, these decisions are never easy. We have some of the lowest prices in the world, and while shipping rates have increased every year, we never raised our free shipping offer. Finally we started to lose money on orders and had to raise the minimum a little. We want to stay in business and keep doing what we do!

Penguin always packs as much value into your orders as possible, and that will never change.
