http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S13452First off, i feel the trailer was very misleading. I recommend u go to youtube and watch magic geek's full performance of this for the full effect. The trailer implies that from the pictures u can tell which card the spectator is thinking of. And i assumed "wallet sized" photos meant that u could keep this in your wallet and perform it anytime anywhere. Wrong! You need a deck of cards to do this effect as well as the photos. In my opinion there's no real advantage in using these photos as opposed to other mind reading card tricks u can do with a deck of cards without the photos.
The teaching on this is very bad. Lots of performance footage, shows him doing it over and over again for like 7 mins. He goes thru the trick really really fast. Then his last performance of multiple spectators, he absolutely speeds through. I cant help but think that was the first time he ever performed the trick in that way (based on the very average performance for that version). The actual trick i think resembles the old 21 card trick or that old dai vernon telepathy trick. Neither of which are credited.
Like how hard would it of been to go to a camera/photo shop and print these photos? These appear to be printed at home (i could be wrong) on a cardboard type material. Which is fine, but still, some of mine a very very slightly off cut.
Because the price is quite reasonable and it will work for laymen i'm giving it a 6/10
6/10 skip it unless u like the effect.
