I just thought I'd share the blog post I just made on penguins blog. It's about the classic force and a technique to use to practice it if you're afraid of using it. As we all know, it's difficult to practice that particular force, but see if this advice can help you some!

I have yet to really practice this slight for the exact reasons you mention. I felt the same way about palming for a long time, but I've found simply going out of my way to find a reason to "try anyways" that the sleight comes to me rather quickly (Blew family members away at a party with Homing Card Plus). For me I just need to put together a small routine of sleights that are difficult like this. If it is all nicely routined together, I can practice a couple of sensitive sleights and offer new material to the same audience . . . for now.
