Probably one of the most talked about tricks of the holiday season. It looks great. Here are my thoughts

Pros:
Gimmick is 1 card thickness
Its very easy to do, its a no-brainer
Materials are given to make more gimmicks
Two gimmicks are provided
Well explained dvd (perhaps a little too long even).
If you have less cards on top of the selected card (ie the gimmick and chosen card is near the top of the deck), you get way more movement with the deck, more akin to the traditional haunted pack.

Cons:
Both gimmicks are red back. Not sure why they cant be one blue/one red. (however you can make your own)
If you do the "prep" wrong. The haunted pack doesn't move. And your not sure if its going to move or you should awkwardly wait longer.
Recommended handling (so you start clean and end clean) is not for everyone. If you do not use that particular handling, you may not start/end clean. The handling requires the old style of bicycle box design.

Overall
8/10. Its a buy!
It looks great, easy to use. Yes you will have less animation than spooked, however it is more practical.



EDIT: I would like to add that i made my own gimmick in blue backed cards. But for some reason its not as good as the two gimmicks that came with the trick. Basically i cant do the trick as well (since i only use blue backs). Therefore i think I'm going back to doing Spooked with a Tarantula. However i still like Haunted and still give it 8/10

For about how many routines will a gimmick last?

Every 40 performances you need to add something. However it looks like the gimmick will never break if you take care of it. It should last hundreds of performances.

It will break; some people have had it break all ready but it can be easily replaced.

Its really strong. Those people either had faulty gimmicks or were abusing it.

..And gimmick abuse is serious, and should be reported

Report them to Acar, I hear he has something extra special at the ready.
