FINALLY. A thread where I don't need to recommend Liquid Metal.

Do you like bench press 400 pounds and and grip iron bars and bend them easily like Superman? Seems like you would have to be able to do those things before you are able to perform LM smoothly and naturally using Penguin's Liquid Forks.

I should answer No to this, to look more normal, right?

Strolling magician- u don't need to b superman to do liquid metal, u just have to stop being a girl about it... No offense

Liquid metal is probably one of the best routines I do. It's a real worker.

R u sure it would b prudent not 2 chastise another 4 character flaws when 1 obviously has a few of hiz own?

Another question to Strolling magic, how old are you? A certain amount of hand strength is necessary but I think most should have the basics down after about 20 forks. Are you using the recommended forks?

34 years old (hope nobody thinks I am a weakling  ). I guess I just need to "man up" and start lifting weights. I had trouble finding the recommended forks, so I ordered Penguin Liquid Forks. Been having trouble with the corkscrew twist part of the Liquid Metal routine even when using Penguin Liquid Forks.

Not too excited about the LM2, kind of like passing out the fork after as a "give-away". I don't really think LM requires a super-human level of strength, it's more about technique. After about a week of practice it really didn't seem like a big deal....my opinion.

That will probably be the big deal when all is said and done. Even when you get those it will take a bit to get used to. It also could be less about strength and more about just going for it. It is kind of like peeling a band-aid off a scab. If you try to do it slowly it will hurt more.
