hi, i've been wanting to add a comedy escape (in and out moves) to my act. I've tried the standard handcuff thing (with the chain and bar thing) and kellar rope ties but i really dont like those methods. I want something idiot proof. I have the dixie dooley set too but what are some other alternatives for doing a comedy in and out kinda thing?

So far i've found thumbscape and thats all.

I don't see anything wrong with the two you mentioned. Anyways may a zip tie thumb escape or thumbcuffs as you mentioned. Although it's not idiot proof I like my good ole straitjacket.

Thumbcuffs have never held me at anytime. It's a good in and out escape.

There was a comedy act with rope, having spectators tie your wrists, but cannot remember the artist or the name of the effect. Currently in airport but will look over the weekend to see if I can find it in my DVD collection. Might want to see if Daryl has anything on his rope magic dvd set??? Ooops never mind, the one I was thinking of was Tony Clark's In and Out Escape.
