I don't really like the video. Alot of what he says I can totally imagine a professional saying, but with a whole lot of charisma. But for the life of me, I can't think of anything that rediculous that a magician says.

Most beginners start out like that when they are searching for their own magic persona. The video was a joke mocking the over-embellishment process, and some of the old habits that stay with you, although not as over-exaggerated as they once were. The video is hilarious, especially to someone such as myself who has been in the art for 31 years, and pretty has heard all the lingo long ago. I could also see one making a comedy routine out of this. But as I said most beginners usually start off trying to emulate other performers before find their own magic personality, and try to over-sell it all. it is all part of the learning process, and most quit the art before ever find their own magic persona.

Oh man, that was great! Thank you so much for posting! I laughed so much! I have been guilty of many of these throughout the years. It's nice to be able to look back and laugh at my self.
