I'm not going to name tricks, so if that's what you're interested in hearing, move on.
Stick with something visual. If you have to show cards, do them up around your face, not down on a table. Nobody wants to see the top of your head.
If you need to perform an Elmsley or similar count, learn to do it up in front of your face too, not down at the waist or on a table. The moves are reversed and it's hard to get the hang of it, but it'll be way more successful.
If you need to deal cards, use a volunteer's hands.
Don't expect them to remember a card for very long, if at all. Float a card, make it jump out of the deck. Change back colors. Things like that. Play it big for all to see (and hear! The back row can't see but they don't need to see everything if you narrate what you're doing)
And above all, make it fun!
