I was at my friends house, editing websites, and his other buddy and his girl were arguing in the next room. AWKWARD. Anyway, they went to separate rooms and I told the guy, let me take your mind of this girl man, let me show you some magic. I did the Svengali deck to him. Showed all the cards were different, he picked a card, put it back, made them all change to his card(9 of hearts) and he was blown away. He said, "Oh they are half cards, half 9 and half other" so then made them all different so he could see the whole faces.

He was blown away. Then I took my friends cell phone and performed Pressure with a balloon. They got wide-eyed, asked me how I did it and were stumped. Before I left, the dudes girlfriend wanted to see what the fuss was about, did the same Svengali trick and Pressure, and she demanded I tell her how it was done.

All in all, pretty successful impromptu magic session.
