For me it was Card-toon 2 back in Feb 2003. Penguin was the first online shop I ordered from and first magic forum I joined almost 10 years ago, and still here posting and ordering! I started reading in 2002 and joined in Sept. because I saw a post that I wanted to respond to. The rest is history! :)

The first item I bought I stated in a recent post lol. It was the opener by Morgan Strebler. Personally I never liked the method after I got it but tried it the other day and it amazed people specially when I performed spun right after haha. I was 14 or 15 when i got the opener and I am 21 now. Ive learned alot since then

Self-Tying Shoelace back in 2006, I believe! I was 11 back then and am 17 now. Penguinmagic really boosted my interest and involvement in magic.

Wow. Time flies.

I bought Misled and Vanishing Glass of Liquid in Sept 2003. 9 years ago! I was in grade six and now I'm graduating university!

Yeah I remember you were broke and trying to trade me one of your effects for "Pena-coin". I thought wow, you have to be broke not to be able to buy a $2.50 trick.

Yeah must have been, I used to get hundreds of pm's a week from kids trying to get free tricks and tips, now the forum barely has anyone on it. The good ole days...

I remember buying the instant download of "Snap Change" in 2004. It's a little odd thinking about it.

Mine was Sankey Unleashed. It is still a fantastic book and it was my first "real" magic purchase besides Nicholas Einhorn's Practical Encyclopedia of Magic, which I got from a local bookstore.

I'd have to go back and check, but I feel like my first Penguin purchase was Luke Jermay's Koran's Medallion download. I'm still often inspired by how cool it was/is.

The Ultimate Ace Assembly by Oz Pearlman Instant Download. I remember it was when I was really new to magic and when the explanation video started, Oz stated that it was done with real magic, there's no trick to it. And I believed him. But of course then he said it wasn't and taught how it was done. Great memory.
