First of all, I love this gimmick. I use it all the time and it floors people. I now use it in conjunction with Sankey's Insider as a closer and its fantastic.

However....

Does anyone out there know how to do the tear without the gimmick?? I remember back in the days when cooperfield did the tear cleanly with just the card and produce it CTW style on the train.

Not sure if I'm giving away too much info on the gimmick/method. Let me know.

Cheers.

Hello,

I'm not entirely sure if there is a special thread to introduce ourselves but if there is I'm sorry I did not find it.

My name is Yann, I'm 33, I'm French and I dived into Magic in 1996 when I opened Mayette Magie Moderne's door for the first time.

That said, I'm happy to tell you that something big is in the works with Bloom's Intercessor Gimmick.

One 'collateral damage' of this project is an interactive map of intercessor owners that is building up.

You can have a look at it and/or add your elements to http://bit.ly/IntercessorMap (temporary URL).

Please contact me via PM to get the key required to access the map.

Regarding your question about a way "to do the tear without the gimmick"; in his 'History of the Intercessor' talk during EMC 2012, Gaƫtan Bloom gives a way to avoid doing the 'dirty work' in front of the audience but you DO need the gimmick.

Regards.

Hello,

If you are an Intercessor owner, I invite you to contact Intercessor Club on FaceBook; from there you will be invited to a dedicated secret group.

If you are allergic to FaceBook, you can follow Intercessor Club's page on Google +.

If Google + is not your thing, you'll have to wait a bit until the website opens.

Cheers.
