Hey, I wanted to add a lite flight to my act. I really don't know what ones are good are not, I've seen some here on penguin with no reviews. Are there any that Do Not use invisible thread or any type of string? That would be one that I want to get. Thanks.

I don't have the Lite Flight effect but have my own method I discovered completely by accident for causing a bead of light to dance in front of me. It uses no IT, TT (gaffed or otherwise), and as far as I know is original with me. If by chance my method is a marketed effect let me know and I will withdraw this post.

The method I use is black shielded fiber optics cable and black art. With a black shirt on and the lights dimmed a bit the black cable is completely invisible. The cable is stiff enough so that when you have it under your arm or down your pants the other end of the cable is about in your midsection.

Now, as far as the light source. Any light shined in one end will come out the other end. You can use a pen light taped to one end or whatever you desire. You can make it change color with colored lights or a filter.

You've no doubt seen those silly fiber optics Christmas trees around the holidays. It's the same principle but with a little help to hide the cable.

There's a lot of un-discovered potential for fiber optics in magic and mentalism. The ideas presented above don't even scratch the surface. I bought a 50 in 1 fiber optics experiments kit from Radio Shack years ago and it sparked my interest to further explore the subject.

You should be able to find shielded (black) fiber optics cable through a Google search.
