The problem with a shell is that unless your shell and coin contain a certain strong property, if you drop the coins on the table it will not stay intact as a single coin like the Butter Coin does!

i like what the butter coin can do, except mine was so poorly made i sent it back. so they sent me a new one. that was even worse, so i am getting my money back. some say it is the best gimmicked coin they have. if you want to take the risk, get it, but ive heard the flipper coin is better.

i wanna know what the difference between the butter coin and flipper coin is. It seems that you can do the same things with it, and it doesn't use a shell or anything.
i dont have the butter coin, so i dont understand how it could be different

I own the Flipper coin , the butter coin , and expanded shell coins . I prefer the flipper coin to the butter coin hands down . If you want to do flight tricks it's the only way to go . The Buttercoin is alright , but the disadvantage is that you have to hold the coins very close together and IMHO it doesn't look natural . With a flipper coin , you can clearly show the coins in a nice wide spread. You can do wonders with a shell coin too ! I guess the Buttercoin is ok , it's just not what it is hyped up to be .

the old dispute over the buttercoin keeps going. some love it, others hate it. it seems like a 50/50 chance on getting a good quality coin or a piece of junk. the one i got was great quality, luckily. it's a pretty good utility coin...it has quite a few uses. but to be honest, i don't actually use it very much. it may be because i've focused on other effects though. the only time i really use it, is at the start of a coin routine i do. it's a decent coin, but you just need to get your money's worth out of it.
