I ordered my magic on friday but it did not ship until monday, does the shipping policy not count because I ordred it on friday, or do I still get the stuff free? Thanks

yep just happened to me. they claimed it was sent on time!

gave me a reply saying it was me who was wrong.

sent another email with proof still waiting :( :roll:

From the stated Penguin policy (link posted above), it appears that weekends are exempt from the next day shipping guarantee.

Elliot, when did you order and when was your order shipped?

Well, then, they clearly state that weekends don't count so you really only ordered at the start of business on Monday and it shipped on Tuesday. So you're out of luck :-( That's my interpretation of the policy, anyway, but I think it is the correct one.

Aside to Penguin: Feel free to give me a huge discount on my next order for helping you out :-)

[Actually, to be fair, maybe Penguin doesn't state their policy quite as clearly as they should ... I guess their statement can be interpreted otherwise, although I think my interpretation is the one they intend.]

i orderd something the day before martin luther king day and they said it shipped on king day.. however thats impossible cause its a holiday and that they cant ship when the P.O. is not open.. but the lady insisted it was so i was like whatever.. :twisted:

but still penguin has always been the best, when i orderd ground shipping i got priority, i cant complain no matter what, penguin is the best :twisted:
