Just a note. there are three ways a person can learn. reading, seeing and writing. I learned this long after school..i sucked in it though i tried. I found out that Im a visual learner...reading forget it..so I found videos better than books. Also, if i write down what i see on the video..im learning in two ways.

46 huh? I'll be darned, I'm 58. But there's a few people on these boards that don't beleive me. I guess they just don't want to beleive that people of all ages can have an interest in magic.

I, too, prefer visual educational methods over reading. Thank god for DVD players in computers and for the television: reviewing sleights is so much easier without rewinding, going to far, forwarding, and missing the spot you were trying to return to in the first place.

Hey you old guys, I just turned 47 on the 14th. Is'nt this fun. I like both the books and dvds. The books leave something to the imagination as far as how you will do the routine. I find myself copying the the patter on the dvds. At least at first.
