all of you street magicians, i want to ask you somthing....
what kind of tricks you do on your street preformence?
tricks like "here and there" and "two card monte" preformed by blaine,
or artistic tricks, with silks, props and stage stuff?

i try to make my own show but i cant decide on being blaine magician or stage magician...

what do you think?

Instead of copying Blaine's style, or choosing to copy another's style... make your OWN style :D what a neat idea. The reason those people got to where they are is by choosing what they like, and going off with it.

Be original

Why not do both? Criss Angel does. You dont need to limit yourself to one kind of magic. :D

I think surgical reveal would be a good trick for the streets, it would freak people out.

very true, i do this. But, doing both may take some time out of each other. such as instead of perfecting your stage routine, your learning a new card trick 8)

Don't let others define who you are ... be yourself .. it is the ONLY way to develop a unique reputation and set yourself apart from the crowd.

Can't agree more with magicman. YOU create your own personality. YOU create your own repitiore. YOU are running the show. Not us. Just be yourself and original.

yah, well you might not be eligible for certain things. i want to be able to perform with repeat bookings with mentalism. now, i'm only 15, and i dont think many adults will book some teenage nutcase who thinks he has supernatural powers. my advice: think wisely before you make any big decisions
