I just picked up By Forces Unseen: The Innovative Card Magic of Ernest Earick. I have to admit, I'm having a really good time with it. Most ofhe material in this book is fairly difficult, but it's fun to try, and with practice, I'm sure I'll get it down.

I don't think you can really compare any of them. The Art of Astonishment series is a collection of tricks by Paul Harris and his friends. The Card College series is full of sleights with a few tricks to go along with them. By Forces Unseen (the book I just got) is a more common type of magic book. It has tricks invented by or used by a certain magician and some of that magician's favorite sleights or sleights needed to perform the tricks.
