I was planning on doing restaurants lately. I've never done it before but I have gotten used to doing it because of a show my local magic shop was doing in which all the magicians did a little bit of walk-around before the show. I was thinking of what tricks I should do... Any ideas? :?:

I know a resturant magician.

his name is steve vought.

he preforms at the ryans in fort wayne, 2-5p eastern time.

He does that sponge trick with four sponges,
thum tip, and thats all he does that is on this website.

But you can do cigarette thru quarter, a card trick that only I know but,
anyway, short card tricks, slight of hand tricks, and even small, (but powerful) street magic!

but out of them all I would suggest, short close-up street magic!

Not that self levetation crap, I hate that!

Ok listen restaurant magic isn't something you can just jump into, you have to study ,get routines, and make sure you perfect those routines.

I suggest you get routines and perfect them before you even consider restaurant magic. I see that since you are asking you are not ready for it, not yet anyway.

Just remember if you go into it not ready the audience won't enjoy it as much as they could and you will be faced with a lot of pressure trying to come up with a routine to do if you get hired for a party , so you won't show them the same material again. Make sure you get a few routines ready maybe wait a year or two before going into restaurant magic.
