How do some of you manage to make double posts, one right below the other, seconds or even minutes apart? I've even seen a few triple posts! And does any one know how some of the responses get put at the top of the topic instead of the bottom where it should be? Just wondering how this happens.

I think what he and many others are trying to say is PLEEEEASE WE NEED A NEW FORUM WITH EDITING POSTS AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF PRETTY PLEASE. lol. sorry for the caps. yeah but so thats a recommendation.

Editing a post isn;t that big of a deal for me, but what I would love to see in this message board would be 1). A sort funtion. (Sort threads by when the latest posts were made). 2). New posts appear at the top and 3). A search function. I could search all the forums for a specific trick.

I would like five things: 1)Post editing 2)Some sort of indicator saying if that forum/thread has new posts (sorta like on MagicCafe and Tricklist) 3)"Bumping" capability with threads 4)BBCode 5)A search function. It would take a lot of work, especially if they plan on moving over old posts. I think that would be almost impossible though.

Peedldude, Impossible? This is Penguin Magic. Nothing is impossible! The boards seem to use PHP. All of the entries are probably in a database and should be "faily simple" to port over to a new system. There are a lot of good BBs out there. I'm sure that as the use of the Boards grow, then need for better boards will be seen and the things mentioned in earlier posts will be implimented. I just hope that people don't refuse to use the boards because of these deficiencies. If that happens, the boards will die and even well implemented boards are useles when there is no discussion on them. (Wow that was not very magic related.)

I must say that I have NO EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER in php. I know enough of HTML and Java to make a pretty good website but I've never worked with anything else. If using php stores than that's even better. I think these boards would be used much more often if they were redone.
