Has anyone noticed that when Oz does Cross Twist on the AOA demo video he is doing some modification of the effect. He seems to almost be doing this in reverse? I like it very much; it seems smoother than what is described in AOA. Has anyone else noticed this or am I on drugs?

He is doing the basic routine in order, but the twist may be done differently. I am doing it differently myself, but not nearly as well.

Yes, the routine is the same with the same sequencing, it just seems the move is a bit different. I am playing with it to try to understand how he gets it so smooth and magical-looking. Oz does make his magic very visual -- something I am trying to emmulate.

Sorry Freed, I don't and won't do drugs ... it was just an expression.

I too perform a two-handed Cross Twist, because the single-handed version is a bit too tricky for me. However, I still looove to do the color change ending!

Hi,
Thanks for the kind words. I don't want to give away too much here. But you are right I don't do the trick the same way as in the book. My ring finger is not used at all, only my middle in combination with my thumb. Good work Acar! 8)

If I can ask this much, does your twist work better with brand new cards, or slightly used ones?

That is totally asking for secrets, Mods will need to edit.

You are joking, right? How could the age of the cards have any bearing on the secret. I could ask just as well whether an invisible deck works better with old or new cards. I have seen posts, with moderators participating where the phrase "locking coins" was used in reference to Scotch and Soda. If that wasn't a secret revelation how could this be?

Yeah I agree, the age of the cards hardly gives away the secret. I think this works best with newer cards.

Thank you. Now my follow up would reveal secrets, so I won't ask. I will just practice more.

Hey Oz, I have to ask you something. First I want to compliment your excelent demo video for the AoA books. I have them and am very glad i got them. Now for my question. When you find the four aces-the four ace production, is that in your stealing pips new dvd?

I have modified the ending to were I slap the cards with a red silk as the color change takes effect. I find it to be very visual and eye popping.
