 Post subject: Trouble on the hot shot cut

i can do the cut, but when i get to the part when i have to get the original top card to a "gun" position that is hard.the part where i have to flick the card comes natural.

Any tips?

Whenever I try and do the hotshot cut, when I bring the two halves together and get ready to shoot-out a card, the top half always spreads with my finger. Any tips?

practice more and more, the hot shot cut is a difficult move and takes practice

Bravesaint has got totally correct. Practice, Practice Practice... :!: When i first did it, the top half of the cards would spread too. No longer does this happen.
