Yea, that was cool, but who knows it might of been a camra effect, making it look like he pickpocket him.

i dont know if it is exposure but it works kind of like the shirt pocket...have them shuffle a deck of cards then lean foward to "make sure they dont drop them" and do the shirt pocket technique but reversed. it is really quite simple

yea that is a good swip...but beleive it or not they actuallt trained mat damon to pickpocket for the movie and he went all over america for lectures and one on ones with professionals...he went around and he would bump into somebody on the crew and have there wallet for the rest of shooting that day until he gave it back to them...and when he did he always said "hey you owe me my check ne way" he talked about it in a magizine interveiw...

um yah, pickpocketing is hard. even with proper misdirection, you can still be felt. if you know what i mean. i stay away from it becuase people have been shot over things like that

yes practicing in public is kindof illegal with pickpocketing.

I just watched that movie this morning. That steal is called the "bump and steal". There was a post on this website a while ago, so i'll revive it:

It's great. It's supposed to teach you how to avoid being pickpocketed, but it actually teaches you how to. Enjoy!

Bump and steal. Over here the smart blaors and jackets are in fashion so its handy to know. Been pickpocketing for some time now. Not a mastar by far but i know enough to get me by
